1. IA No.: CRAN 1 of 2024 is an application seeking relaxation of conditions granting bail.

2. Investigating Officer is present in Court to instruct the learned Advocate for the State.

3. The application was taken up for consideration yesterday when we noticed that, the forged document was yet to be seized. We requested the State to do the needful.

4. Today, in course of hearing of the application, learned Advocate appearing for the State, on instruction of the Investigating Officer, who again is present in Court, submits that, no document was seized by the Investigating Officer.

5. In response to a further query of the Court, Investigating Officer through the learned Advocate appearing for the State states that,

he did not proceed with the investigation in view of the direction received from the Officer-in-Charge of the police station 20 to 25 days ago not to proceed.

6. Learned Advocate appearing for the State is requested to communicate this order to the jurisdictional Commissioner of Police forthwith.

7. Jurisdictional Commissioner of Police will submit a report as to the claim made by the Investigating Officer. He will record the statements of the Investigating Officer as also the Officer-inCharge. He will submit the report tomorrow.

8. List the application on October 5, 2024.
