The Learned Counsel for the respective parties are present.
The petitioner has made a representation before the respondent authorities praying for provide suitable employment under the exempted category in terms of the notification dated 21st of August, 2022. The representation filed by the petitioner is still pending before the
authority and the authorities has not taken any decision till date.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is passed upon the respondent no.6, the District Magistrate, Cooch Behar, Land Acquisition Branch to dispose of the representation dated 27.06.2022.
Learned Counsel for the respondents submits that if the direction is passed, the competent authority, that is the respondent no.6 shall pass an appropriate order by considering the representation submitted by the petitioner.
In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no.6 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27th June, 2022 and to pass a reasoned and speaking order within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order and if necessary, the petitioner be given an
opportunity of hearing before passing speaking order.
In view of the above, WPA No. 2150 of 2022 stands disposed of.
Affidavit of Service filed in Court today be retained with the record.
All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with necessary formalities.
