The Learned Counsel for the respective parties are present.

The petitioner made a representation to the authorities dated 31st January, 2022 praying for release of the due increments and 20 years benefit with interest from the date of amount being due till the date of release.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the representation filed by

the petitioner is still pending and the respondents have not taken any steps to consider the representation filed by the petitioner.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner will satisfy if a direction be issued upon the respondent no.3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31st of January, 2022 and to dispose of the same by passing a reasoned and speaking order.

Learned Counsel for the respondents submits that if a direction is issued upon the respondent no.3, the respondent no.3 will consider the representation and will pass appropriate order.

Considering the submission of the parties, this Court is of the view that no purpose will be served if the writ petition is kept pending and accordingly the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no.3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31st

of January, 2022 and pass a reasoned and speaking order within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

In view of the above, WPA No. 2152 of 2022 stands disposed of.

Affidavit of Service filed in Court today be retained with the record.

All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with necessary formalities.
