1. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that accused may be enlarged on bail on the basis of rule of parity.
2. It is further submitted that the prayer for anticipatory bail was considered in respect of other co-accused and the petitioner is also standing on the same footing.
3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State has opposed the prayer and submits that on earlier occasion an application for anticipatory bail in respect of petitioner was rejected.
4. However, the gravity of the offence precludes this Court from entertaining any application for granting anticipatory bail.
5. Accordingly the prayer for anticipatory bail stands rejected.
6. As a sequel, the application being C.R.M. (A) 538 of 2025 stands disposed of.
7. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
8. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of the requisite formalities.
