Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the complaint made by the petitioner for registration of an FIR against the respondent no.4 was not entertained. He even had to make a complaint before the Commissioner of Police, but in vain.
Learned counsel for the State relies on the report and submits that a specific FIR being New Jalpaiguri Police Station Case No. 711 of 2023 dated 21.07.2023 has already been registered under Sections 420, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code
on the complaint of the petitioner. The same is being investigated into.
Since the prime grievance of the petitioner about non registration of an FIR on his complaint has already been redressed, no further order need be passed in this regard.
Let the Investigating Agency investigate into the alleged offences and file a report expeditiously and in accordance with law.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
