Having considered the materials on record prima facie disclosing involvement of the petitioner in transporting narcotic substance i.e. 240 bottles of cough syrup containing codeine phosphate above commercial quantity, we are of the opinion this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner.
The application for bail is thus rejected.
Chemical examiner's report be placed before the trial court at the earliest.
We have perused the report submitted by the department. Order dated 24.04.2021 in CRM 332 of 2021 has been placed with the report. Though the case does not relate to the present one, Computer Filing Section shall submit explanation in that regard on the adjourned day.
