The petitioner has initiated a criminal case against the private respondents being Bhaktinagar P.S. Case No. 874 of 2019 dated 09.11.2019 under Sections 448/323/325/506/379/354 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner complains laxity in the investigation of the said criminal case and is seeking appropriate direction to expedite the investigation. Mr. Lalit Mohan Mahata, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State-respondents submits that charge-sheet in the said criminal case has already been filed.

In view of filing of the charge-sheet in the said criminal case, the allegation of the petitioner stands diluted. As such order as prayed for in the present writ petition is not warranted.

With the above, WPA 6001 of 2020 is disposed of accordingly.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance of all requisite formalities.
