1. The present writ petition has been filed, inter alia, praying for a direction upon the respondents to issue land looser certificate in favour of the petitioner.

2. The petitioner claims to be the daughter-inlaw of one Monoranjan Roy Sarkar (since deceased). According to the petitioner, the said Manoranjan Roy Sarkar (since deceased) had donated a portion/ parcel of land in Dag No. 784 Khatian No. 113, Mouza Tamaguri, district-Coochbehar, measuring about satak to Tamaguri Junior High School.

According to the petitioner, the School was constructed to the plot of land which was donated by the father-in-law of the petitioner.

3. The petitioner would submit that the petitioner at present has no source of income. The petitioner is unemployed and as such prays for issuance of a land looser certificate.

4. Having heard the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties, though the petitioner prays for issuance of land looser certificate, however from the case made out by the petitioner, I do not find the petitioner to be a land looser. As such there is no scope to allow the present writ petition.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed without any order as to costs.

6. Urgent certified photo copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
