1. The present writ petition has been filed, inter alia, praying for a direction upon the respondents to issue land looser certificate in favour of the petitioner.

2. The petitioner claims to be the daughter-inlaw of one Rangalal Barman. According to the petitioner, the said Rangalal Barman had donated a portion/ parcel of land in Dag No. 749 Khatian No. 1032, Mouza Sat Bhandari, district-Coochbihar, measuring about cottahs to Sat Bhandari Anganwadi Center under Chamta Gram Panchayat. According to the petitioner, the Sat Bhandari Anganwadi Center was constructed on the plot of land which was donated by the father-in-law of the petitioner.

3. The petitioner would submit that the petitioner at present has no source of income. The petitioner is unemployed and as such prays for issuance of a land looser certificate.

4. Having heard the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties, I find that it is the petitioner's case that her father-in-law had donated certain plot of land. On such ground, I do not find the petitioner to be a land looser. As such, I am of the view that there is no scope to allow the present writ petition.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed without any order as to costs.

6. Urgent certified photo copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
