Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioner seeks consideration of the representation submitted by him before the concerned authority on 12th July, 2023 for consideration of his prayer for grant of career advancement scheme for service period of 20 years to which the petitioner is entitled. The representation is yet to be considered. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the 3rd respondent be directed to consider the representation in accordance with law.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 12th July, 2023 within four weeks from the date of communication of this order upon affording

reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, in accordance with law.

The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof. With the above observation and direction the writ petition being WPA 1741 of 2023 is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegation contained in the writ petition shall be deemed not to have been admitted.

Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of all requisite formalities.
