It appears from the statement of the victim/defacto complainant recorded under Section 161 of the Code of Criminal Procedure that the dispute between the parties has been amicably settled and the defacto complainant does not intend to proceed with the matter any further.

Record reveals that the matter was sent for mediation and the dispute between the parties has been settled vide an order dated November 28, 2024 in the mediation proceedings subject to certain conditions.

In view of the above, the proceedings being G.R.Case No. 2597 of 2024 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Siliguri be disposed of in terms of the settlement arrived at by and between the parties in mediation.

The revisional application being CRR No. 287 of 2024 along with CRAN No. 1 of 2024 is disposed of.
