Debarshi Dhar, learned advocate representing Siliguri Municipal Corporation submits that in terms of the order dated 18th December, 2024 notice was served by e-mail upon the learned advocate representing the petitioner. Copy of the email letter is placed before this Court and same is taken on record.

It has already been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that demolition work is complete in terms of the order dated 23rd August, 2022 since no interim order was subsisting restraining the Corporation from demolishing the unauthorized structure.

Since impugned order dated 23rd August, 2022 is given effect to this writ petition has become infructuous.

Hence, the writ petition stands dismissed.

However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to take steps in accordance with law, if so advised.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
