Report filed on behalf of the State is taken on record. 2.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that nothing has been seized from the possession of the petitioner. The alleged contraband substances have been seized from the vehicle pertaining to which the petitioner has already executed a general power of attorney in favour of one Bhupen Barman for selling of the vehicle in question. He seeks for grant of anticipatory bail in favour of the petitioner.

Learned Advocate for the State, opposing such prayer for anticipatory bail, submits that the alleged contraband

substance of 180.910 Kgs. ganja has been recovered from the Bolero Pick-up Van bearing registration No.WB 73F 6396 registered in the name of the petitioner. He seeks for dismissal of the application for anticipatory bail. 4.

Perused the case diary and the materials on record. 5.

The alleged contraband substances have been seized from the vehicle registered in the name of the petitioner. Considering the materials as above and the nature and gravity of the offence, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail in favour of the petitioner. 6.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.

The application being CRM (A) 604 of 2025 stands dismissed.
