Mr. Nilay Chakraborty, Mr. Aniruddha Biswas, ... For the State The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. The learned Counsel for the State, however, opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that incriminating materials available on record suggesting that the petitioner has defrauded various persons. Considering the materials on record and bearing in mind the nature and extent of complicity of the petitioner in the commission of alleged offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The prayer for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM No.1142 of 2021 is, thus, disposed of.
