Present petition has been filed for grant of pre-arrest bail on the ground that the petitioner who works as a recovery agent of HDB Financial Services has been implicated falsely as the complainant who had taken the role defaulted in making the payment of installments. Learned counsel submits that coaccused, Bikash Das has already been admitted to anticipatory bail by learned Sessions Judge, Jalpaiguri vide order dated 1st August, 2025.

Learned counsel for the State submits that as per the report received from ASI, Manoj Majumdar, New Jalpaiguri

PS/SPC. The name of the petitioner had appeared during the course of investigation.

Perusal of the FIR indicates that the petitioner has not been named in the FIR.

Taking into account, facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is pre-arrest bail on furnishing a personal bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupess Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer, subject to the conditions that petitioner shall join the investigation as and when directed by the Investigating Officer and shall not threaten, intimidate or tamper the witness in any manner whatsoever.

The application for anticipatory bail is thus, disposed of. 6.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
