This writ petition arises out of an industrial dispute between the workman and the respondent bank in question. Learned advocate appearing for the respondent bank submits that against the same cause of action and nature of relief another proceeding is pending before the Central Government Industrial Dispute being reference no. 05 of 2007 as appears at Page - 35 being Annexure - P-5 to the writ petition. It is highly unfortunate that the learned Tribunal even after fifteen years has not been able to

conclude and dispose the proceeding in question even if the contention of the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is accepted that for two or three years the Tribunal was not functioning. It is atrocity of justice and a great injustice to the petitioner who are worker class and they have been deprived of getting justice. Such conduct and attitude of the learned Tribunal is not appreciated by this Court.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case this Writ Petition being WPA 2566 of 2022 is disposed of by directing the learned Tribunal to conclude the aforesaid pending proceeding in question peremptorily within six months from the date of communication of this order without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties. Let a copy of this order be forwarded to the learned Tribunal by the learned Registrar of this Court.
