And In Re: Rahul Roy @ Rahul Ray Petitioner Mr. Arijit Ghosh For the Petitioner Mr. Sourav Ganguly Mr. Sagnik Sankar Sikdar For the State The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the instant case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is cousin of the victim. The learned Counsel for the State produces the case diary and opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Having considered the materials available on record and the nature and extent of complicity of involvement of the petitioner in the commission of alleged offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and we direct the petitioner to surrender before the learned Trial Court within two weeks from date.

The prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected and CRM 1157 of 2021 is accordingly, disposed of.
