REJECTED C.R.M.(A) 675 of 2024 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Tufanganj Police Station Case No. 437 of 2024 dated 10.06.2024 under Sections 363/365/109 of the Indian Penal Code and read with Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

...... petitioners Mr. Sudip guha ...for the petitioner Mr. Aditi Shankar Chakraborty, Ld. A.P.P., Mr. Sagnik Sarkar Sikdar .... for the State Parents of the juvenile who is principal accused are before us seeking anticipatory bail.

Juvenile was granted bail by the Juvenile Justice Board. Victim, however, implicates both the petitioners before us who are the parents of the principal accused. Active role is attributed towards them.

Enlarging any of the petitioners on anticipatory bail will send a wrong signal to the society in the facts of the present cases.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners and the prayer for anticipatory bail petitioners is rejected.
