Calcutta High Court In The Circuit Bench at Jalpaiguri Appellate Jurisdiction ------ 41 06.9.2024 WPA 1868 OF 2024 Sc Ct. no.2 ------------ Smt. Bony Das Vs.

The State of West Bengl & Ors.

Mr. Kumar Shantanu ....For the Petitioner Mr. Nabankur Paul Mr. Pradip Sarkar.

....For the State Respondents The petitioner claims compassionate appointment. The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition was that, despite hearing had taken place before the authority, no reasoned order was passed or supplied to the petitioner.

Today when the matter has been taken up, Mr. Nabankur Paul, learned State counsel has submitted a reasoned order dated September 5, 2024, issued by the District Library Officer, Jalpaiguri, the same is taken on record. Through this reasoned order, the claim for compassionate appointment was rejected for the reasons shown therein.

In view of the above, nothing further survives in the present writ petition.

Accordingly, this writ petition, WPA 1868 of 2024 stands dismissed as infructuous, without any order as to costs.

However, dismissal of this writ petition shall not preclude the petitioner to challenge the reasoned order in accordance with law.
