The petitioner applied for transfer on medical ground of his spouse in the Utsashree portal and the same was carried forward to some extent. It has been submitted that the authority sought for obtaining medical opinion as regards the health of the spouse of the petitioner. Thereafter the application for transfer did not proceed any further.

Learned advocate representing the State respondents submits that as the Utsashree portal has been suspended for quite sometime, accordingly, the petitioner may apply offline for consideration of his prayer.

From the documents annexed to the writ petition, it appears that the application was made by the petitioner in the year 2022 in Utsashree portal. As the portal has been suspended by the respondent authorities, the petitioner ought not to suffer for the same. More than two years have passed since the application was filed by the petitioner.

The District Inspector of Schools is directed to immediately check the health condition of the petitioner's spouse. If the report of the Medical Board suggests that the application of the petitioner may be accepted, then necessary consequential steps shall be taken for considering the petitioner's application seeking transfer in accordance with law.

Steps shall be taken by the concerned authority at the earliest and the application for transfer shall be disposed of within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of usual legal formalities.
