Mr. A. Sarkar, Ms. Namrata Das ... For the State. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. The learned Counsel for the State, however, opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that the victim girl died implicating the petitioner.

Our attention has been drawn to the Medical Examination Report.

Having considered the materials available in the Case Diary and the nature and extent of involvement of the petitioner in the commission of the alleged offence and from the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 CrPC and considering the

Medical Examination Report, we are not inclined to grant the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail stands rejected.
