Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today is taken on record.

The petitioner prays for rectification of the recordings made in her Service Book. According to the petitioner, her Service Book was corrected on several occasions but there is no attesting signature of the head of the institution in respect of the corrections. In some portions the seal and signature of the Headmistress is there but there are several portions where the attestation of the corrections are not made. The petitioner made several representations requesting the necessary correction to be attested but the same has not been done till date.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 6 i.e. the Headmistress/Teacher-in-Charge, Nigamananda Siksha Neketan Girls' High School to consider and dispose of the request made by the petitioner and take necessary consequential steps in the matter in accordance with law.

The aforesaid respondent shall dispose of the representation of the petitioner at the earliest but positively within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of all supporting documents to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photo copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
