1. Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

2. Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is willing to make payment of the amount in installments. He seeks for anticipatory bail in favour of the petitioner.

3. Learned Advocate for the State opposes such prayer.

4. Perused the case diary and materials on record.

5. The electricity meter was in the name of the father of the petitioner. Upon the demise of his father, the petitioner was using the said meter without making any payment. It is found that there is an outstanding amount of Rs.52,367/- which has remained unpaid since 4th May, 2021. The meter is also found missing from the premises.

Considering the above, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

6. Thus, the prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.

7. CRM (A) 653 of 2025 stands dismissed.
