Learned counsel for the State submits that the State has preferred an appeal against the order passed by this Court on 25th August, 2023, which is pending adjudication before the Division Bench of this Hon'ble Court. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the State that the earlier direction of this Court dated 25th August, 2023 has already been complied with. The case has been handed over to a newly appointed Investigating Officer.

In view of the aforementioned statement made by the learned State counsel nothing survive in the present writ petition (WPA 1918 of 2023) and the same is accordingly, disposed of without any order as to costs.
