Mr. Bikramaditya Ghosh, Mr. Pretom Das ... for the State None appears for the petitioner though learned advocates appearing for the State respondent are present. However in the interest of litigant I am not dismissing this writ petition, since on this ground if the matter is dismissed litigant will suffer. Since I find that a representation was made by the petitioner on 3rd May, 2019 as appears at page 15 of the writ petition for redressal of his grievance which has not been disposed of by the respondent authority concerned till date.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, this writ petition being WPA 2660 of 2022 is disposed of by directing the respondent authority concerned to consider and dispose of the aforesaid representation dated 3rd May, 2019 in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order within eight weeks from this date.

It is clarified that this Court has not gone into the merit of the aforesaid representation and the same shall be considered by the respondent authority concerned strictly in accordance with law. With this observation and direction this writ petition stands disposed of.
