CALCUTTA HIGH COURT

IN THE CIRCUIT BENCH AT JALPAIGURI

Ct. No.7 D/L 06.04.2026 (Naba) 54 F.A.T 29 of 2025 Ramesh Mahato Vs.

Babita Kumari 1.

None appears on behalf of the appellant.

2.

It appears from the earlier order passed by this Court dated 29.10.2025 that the appellant was directed to remove the defects as pointed out by the Additional Stamp Reporter within a period of two weeks from date with a condition that the appeal should stand dismissed without any further reference to the Bench. But the said defects as pointed out by the Additional Stamp Reporter have not yet been removed.

Thereafter, the matter has been listed twice when there was none to represent the appellant.

3.

Apparently, the appellant has lost interest to proceed with the case.

4.

Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed for default.
