The instant revisional application has been preferred by the present petitioner on the ground that he is the owner of a vehicle from which contraband article was seized. Accordingly one NDPS case is pending before the learned Sessions Judge. It is the submission of the learned advocate for the petitioner that the petitioner was not arrayed as an accused in that case. However, his petition for return of the vehicle is still pending before the learned Special Judge and yet to be disposed of. He prayed for necessary direction.

Heard the learned advocate and also learned advocate on behalf of the State; considered the submission. It is directed that learned Special Judge is to dispose of the application of the present petitioner for releasing the vehicle which was filed before him in the month of September 2022 as early as possible. It is specifically directed that the learned Special Judge shall dispose of the application after complying with the formalities laid down in law within a fortnight from the date of receipt of this order.

Accordingly the instant revisionnal application is disposed of.
