Learned Advocate for the petitioner submits the petitioner is the son of the sister-in-law of the deceased, who died in the in-law's house. There are no such allegations against the petitioner. He seeks for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes such prayer. 3.
Perused the case diary and the materials on record. 4.
From statement of the witnesses recorded under Section 161 Cr.P.C. it is found that there is no specific allegation against the petitioner. The Post Mortem report reveals that the death of the victim is due to ante mortem hanging. In
view of the above, I am inclined to allow the prayer of the petitioner for anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, in the event of arrest the petitioner namely Jiban Barman @ Prasanna Barman shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 corresponding to Section 482(2) of BNSS. The petitioner is directed to join investigation and cooperate with the Investigating Officer.

This application for anticipatory bail is allowed. 7.
CRM (A) 663 of 2025 is, thus, disposed of.
