The petitioner is a Group 'B' Staff of the Forest Department, Government of West Bengal. The petitioner is praying that in view of the opinion of the Enquiry Officer that no allegation since has been proved, the pending disciplinary proceeding against him be dropped.

The petitioner being a State Government employee, should have moved the State Administrative Tribunal for redressal of his said grievance. WPA 1998 of 2024 is therefore dismissed as not maintainable, there shall be no order as to costs. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties, subject to compliance of all requisite formalities.
