S/L 29 13.06.2022 Court No.1 sourav CALCUTTA HIGH COURT
IN THE CIRCUIT BENCH AT JALPAIGURI
APPELLATE JURISDICTION MAT 69 of 2021 Shib Sankar Das Vs.
The State of West Bengal & Ors.
None appears for the appellant even in the second call.
The appeal is pending for a considerable period of time.
The appeal is directed against an order dated February 5, 2021 by which, the writ petition of the appellant was dismissed.
The writ petitioner/appellant challenged an order passed by the appellate authority dated July 23, 2018 imposing penalty of Rs. 30,000/- in the disciplinary proceeding on the charge of causing financial loss to the employer.
The learned judge did not find any violation of any statute or rule or regulation or law in the appellate authority passing the order.
The learned judge noted the scope of interference of the writ court in disciplinary proceeding and proceeded to dismiss the writ petition.
We find no ground to interfere with the impugned order.
Accordingly, MAT 69 of 2021 is dismissed without any order as to costs.
