The applicant is alleging willful and deliberate violation of the order dated December 13, 2023 passed in WPA 162 of 2021 by not disbursing the interest amount on the arrear pension at the rate fixed by the said order. Mr. Barman, learned advocate appears on behalf of the alleged contemnor and submits that by the order willful violation of which has been alleged, the alleged contemnor was directed to calculate the interest component on the arrear pension of the applicant and to take forward steps for disbursement of it. The alleged contemnor has already calculated the said interest component and has sent it to the Treasury Officer, Alipurduar. The applicant is now required to take steps before the said Treasury Officer. The alleged contemnor has complied with the direction of this Court. The applicant is now required to take the issue with the concerned Treasury Officer for payment of the amount.

CPAN 60 of 2024 is thus disposed of.
