The petitioner submits that his land has been acquired by the respondent authority for construction of highway. No notice of acquisition was issued or compensation awarded in his favour.

From the documents annexed to the writ petition, there is nothing on record to suggest such acquisition. In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by granting leave to the petitioner to file appropriate representation highlighting his grievances before the concerned authority annexing documents in support of his submission.

In the event there are documents in support of such acquisition, then necessary steps shall be taken by the concerned respondent for payment of compensation in accordance with law.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
