For the respondent no.1 Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking direction to respondent no.1 to decide his application dated 10th January, 2023 filed under the Right to Information Act, 2005. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent no.1 who appears on advance notice states that the State Information Commission was not functioning till April 2023 and thus the present complaint could not be taken up for hearing.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent no.1 states that the present complaint shall be disposed of within a period of three months from today.

The writ petition being WPA 2006 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the respondent no.1 to

positively decide the application/complaint of the petitioner dated 10th January, 2023 within a period of three months from today after giving the petitioner an opportunity of hearing. The respondent no.1 shall communicate his decision to the petitioner within a week from the date of taking such decision.

Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates appearing for the parties expeditiously subject to compliance of all requisite formalities.
