1. Bail prayer of the petitioner is taken up for consideration.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner seek bail mainly on the ground of delay. It is submitted that the petitioner has been in custody for over 3 years 9 months.

3. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer.

4. Having heard the submissions made on behalf of the parties and also considering the materials placed with the instant application, it transpires that some of the prosecution witnesses have already been examined at the trial. The case is fixed for examination of the remaining witnesses from 5th December, 2025 to 10th December, 2025.

5. In such circumstances, it would not be proper to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage of trial.

6. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

7. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 406 of 2025 is thus disposed of.

8. Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities. (Md. Shabbar Rashidi, J.)
