Rahman ...For the State The complaint of the petitioner pertains to inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in taking steps for removal of illegal encroachers. The State respondents are represented and submit that pursuant to the filing of this writ petition appropriate action has been taken and notices have been served on the illegal encroachers under the provisions of Section 10 Sub-clause (3) of the West Bengal Highways Act, 1964.

It is further submitted on behalf of the State respondents that pursuant to such notices appropriate action is being taken and the proceedings are being brought to their logical conclusion.

In view of the above, there is no scope for passing any order in this writ petition.

WPA/2019/2023 stands disposed of in view of the submissions made on behalf of the State respondents.
