By this writ petition, petitioner has made an innocuous prayer of direction upon the respondent SDO, Jalpaiguri, to expedite the proceeding in question pending before him as appears from Annexure P-1 to the supplementary affidavit filed by the petitioner, dated 4th November, 2022, under Maintenance of Welfare of Senior Citizen Acts, 2007. Considering the submission of the parties, this writ petition being WPA 2819 of 2022 is disposed of by directing the respondent SDO concerned to expedite and conclude the pending proceeding in question expeditiously and preferably within 12 weeks from the date of communication of this order.
