Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner had made a representation dated 26th July, 2023 before the Secretary, Food & Supply Department of West Bengal at 11A, Mirza Ghalib Street, Kolkata-700 087.

At the outset learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that he will be satisfied if his representation dated July 26, 2023 is decided by giving him an opportunity of personal hearing within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondents who appears on advance notice states that they will decide and pass a speaking order on the representation of the petitioner dated 26th July, 2023 by affording a personal hearing to the petitioner within a period three weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The concerned respondent is directed to decide and pass a speaking order on the representation of the petitioner dated 26th July, 2023 within a period of three weeks from the date of communication of this order after affording a personal hearing to the petitioner. The concerned respondent is also directed to communicate the speaking order to the petitioner within a week from the date of taking such decision. The petitioner and the respondents shall communicate this order to the appropriate authority. With the above directions the present writ petition being WPA 2037 of 2023 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
