Petitioner prays for anticipatory bail.

It is submitted co-accuseds have been granted bail/anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner absconded for five years. He cannot claim parity with co-accuseds who have been granted bail/anticipatory bail.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
