...... petitioners Mr. Sandip Guha Roy ....for the petitioners Mr. Aditi Shankar Chakraborty, Ld. A.P.P., ....for the State Three persons suffered injuries in an incident of assault. None of the injuries suffered was classified as grievous hurt. Apparently, sharp cutting weapons were used in the incident of assault.

Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail.

Considering the nature of involvement of the petitioner in the incident and the nature of injuries suffered, we grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioners shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each, with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also be subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the B.N.S.S.,

2023 and on further condition that the petitioner nos. 4 to 7 will meet with the investigating officer once a month till the conclusion of the investigation and the petitioner nos. 1 to 3 will cooperate with the investigation till the conclusion of the investigation. The petitioners shall appear on every date before the Jurisdictional Court on and from the date fixed for appearance of the accused and in default the jurisdictional Court will pass appropriate order to secure the presence of the petitioners in Court including cancelling the anticipatory bail granted without further reference to this Court.
