1. The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the Special Land and Land Acquisition Officer, Jalpaiguri to intimate the fate of the hearing held on 19th July, 2024.
2. The petitioner asserts that he duly attended the hearing on 19th July, 2024 in terms of the memo no. 1523/LA dated 15th July, and made submission in support of his claim. The fate of the hearing has not been communicated to him till date.
3. The respondent authority ought to have supplied the fate of the hearing to the petitioner after the hearing was held. Considerable period of time has elapsed from the date of hearing.
4. The present writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by directing the Special Land Acquisition Officer,
Jalpaiguri to intimate the fate of the hearing to the petitioner at the earliest but positively within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.
5. The writ petition stands disposed of.
6. Urgent certified photo copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
