The petitioner is an Assistant Primary Teacher of Sachinandan 4th Plan Primary School under Dinhata-III Circle within the jurisdiction of District Primary School Council, Cooch Behar.

The petitioner claims to have submitted an application for general transfer on the ground of distance to a school near to the residence of the petitioner before the Chairman DPSC, Coochbehar. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date no

decision on such application has been communicated to the petitioner.

Without entering into the merits of the claim made in the representation dated August 11, 2025, this writ petition stands disposed of by directing the Chairperson, DPSC, Coochbehar, being the respondent no. 6, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated August 11, 2025 which is annexed at page 23 of the writ petition and to dispose of the same in accordance with law by passing a reasoned order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order along with a copy of the representation dated August 11, 2025.
