1. The petitioner claims that three work orders were issued to the petitioner pursuant to tender processes initiated by the Executive Officer of the Rajganj Panchayat Samiti. It is submitted that even though the petitioner completed the works, payment has not been made. It is further submitted that claims were raised by the petitioner before the concerned authority, but those went unheeded.

2. This writ petition has been filed for necessary direction upon the authorities to disburse the outstanding amount of Rs.29,71,187/- along with interest on delayed payment.

3. The writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Block Development Officer, Rajganj to

treat the writ petition as a representation of the petitioner and pass a reasoned order in accordance with law. The same shall be communicated to the petitioner. The petitioner shall be heard. The petitioner shall be allowed to produce documents. The decision shall be taken upon verifying all records and documents maintained by the office of the samiti and produced by the petitioner.

4. Needless to mention, if it is found that the petitioner has partially completed the work or completed the work in total, then necessary order for release of the amount payable to the petitioner as the assessment of the said authority shall be passed.

5. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.

7. Parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
