1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a co-accused person on similar footing was granted bail.

2. Although the prayer for anticipatory bail is controverted by the State, we find that for the sake of parity, the petitioner ought to be granted the benefit of anticipatory bail upon putting her to terms.

3. Accordingly, CRM (A) 756 of 2023 is allowed, thereby granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner on condition that the petitioner shall comply with the stipulations under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

4. In the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs. 10,000/-, with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the

learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Siliguri and on further condition that the petitioner shall make herself available for interrogation as and when required by the Investigating Officer.
