1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The petitioners pray for consideration of their representation in the light of the Memorandum No.1107-F (P) dated 25th February, 2016.

3. Without entering into the merits of the claim of the petitioners, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Director of Local Bodies, Government of West Bengal to consider the prayer of the petitioners in accordance with law and the prevailing rules and dispose of the same at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

4. It will be open for the Director of Local Bodies to consult the records of the Municipality to take a final decision in the matter.

5. It appears that the representation was made by the petitioners before the Municipality. Representation is yet to be served upon the Director of Local Bodies.

6. Leave is granted to the learned advocate on record of the petitioners to forward a copy of the representation seeking consideration to the respondent no.4 along with a copy of all documents in support of their prayer at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

7. The writ petition stands disposed of.

8. Urgent certified photo copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
