1. The petitioner's plan proposal seeking sanction submitted online on 22nd February, 2024 is pending consideration at the end of the Jalpaiguri Municipality.

2. The statutory time period within which the application ought to have been considered has long elapsed.

3. The instant writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by directing the Jalpaiguri Municipality to take a decision on the plan proposal submitted online by the petitioner strictly in accordance with law and intimate the petitioner the fate of the same.

4. A decision shall be taken in the mater at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of.

6. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept with the records.

7. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of usual legal formalities.
