1. Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for anticipatory bail. It is submitted that the wife of the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail.

2. It is further argued that there is a long standing dispute between the petitioner and his mother and sister, which was the reason for the complaint being lodged.

3. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that as per the complaint, the allegations against the petitioner are serious and the mother of the petitioner sustained grievous injury.

4. Keeping in view the circumstances, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, CRM (A) 760 of 2023 is dismissed. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to approach the appropriate court praying for bail.
