The petitioner prays for pre-arrest bail. He says that he has been falsely implicated. He and the victim own shops in the same market. There was a dispute between them. Hence, this false complaint.

Learned State Advocate draws our attention to the material in the case diary. We have seen the statements of witnesses recorded under Section 161 Cr.P.C. They clearly implicate the petitioner. We have seen the medical report and photographs from the case diary. The victim appears to have sustained severe injuries by reason of being attacked with knife.

In view of the gravity of the allegations and prima facie incriminating material against the petitioner, we are not inclined to allow his prayer for anticipatory bail. 4.

The prayer for anticipatory bail stands rejected. 5.

CRM (A) 759 of 2024 is dismissed.
