The School Service Commission has indicated that the petitioner's rank is below, the first preferred candidate in the three preferred schools of choice. The petitioner has given three further preferences.

The Chairman of the School Service Commission shall sit with the petitioner on Wednesday (22.03.2023) at 2 p.m. The vacancy in any of the schools of the new choice made or any other nearby schools may be ascertained and offered to the petitioner.

It is expected that the issue is put to rest on Wednesday (22.03.2023) at 2 p.m. or as soon thereafter but not later than Friday (24.03.2023).

With the aforesaid observations, the instant contempt application shall stand disposed of. Rule, if any, shall stand discharged.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
