Monalisa Bhattacharjee v. State Of West Bengal And ORS.
Court No. 2
IN THE HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA
Circuit Bench At Jalpaiguri Constitutional Writ Jurisdiction Appellate Side W.P.A. 2904 of 2022 Monalisa Bhattacharjee VS The State of West Bengal & Ors.
Mr. Hirak Barman ... for the State-respondents.
None appears for the petitioner. Earlier order 02.01.2025 Item No.38 dc.
dated 22.11.2022 also reflects that the petitioner was not represented.
As none appears on behalf of the State, Mr.
Hirak Barman, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears for the State, is directed to represent the State. His appointment may be regularized by the concerned authorities.
As the petitioner is not pursuing the writ petition, I am of the view that further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted. Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 2904 of 2022 is dismissed for default.
Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
