The petitioner who is an Assistant Teacher of Dakshin Kalamati SP Primary School, has applied before the concerned authority seeking transfer on distance and surplus ground. The grievance of the petitioner is that no decision on such representation has been taken by the competent authority till date.
Learned advocate appearing for the respondents submits that some time be given to the respondent authority to dispose of such representation.
In the light of the submission made by the learned advocates representing the respective parties, this writ petition stands disposed of by directing the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education, being the 4th respondent, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated September 3, 2025 seeking transfer on distance and surplus ground as specifically mentioned in the said representation and dispose of the same in accordance with law after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and by passing a speaking order. The entire exercise shall be completed by the 4th respondent as early as possible but positively within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a server copy of this order along with a copy of the representation dated September 3, 2025.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
